There have been times I've received lovely gifts as a token of appreciation and/or affection which have truly touched me. Many clients have become friends over the years, and I treasure their friendship. Although I would never ask for a gift, I've been asked what I would like to receive if someone wished to do so. Of course, I try to talk them out of it! LOL Some of you fellas are as stubborn as me, so I will help you out w/ some suggestions. Let me say that unique items such as antique art glass or unusual carved wooden statues from Asia are the kinds of things I will hold on to if you seek to give something timeless.
I enjoy perfumes of a fresh, oriental flavor or crisp florals such as gardenia. Although sweet perfumes are not generally my choice, I love Obsession which was my most recent gift. *Thank you again, Sweetie!!!*
Silver jewelry w/ natural stones or embellishments such as moonstone, amber or torquoise. Nothing too big or gaudy, but unusual settings that are simple would be my style. I have a marcasite ring that is very 20's art deco & it gets lots of compliments. :)
At my incall, I have a collection of pinups - both vintage & modern - as well as kitty kats, of course. I'm running out of space, so make it small, please.
At home, I have a more oriental style of decor: wood statues of teak elephants, a Thai goddess, Chinese fisherman & his wife, etc... These were all FREE! They seem to come to me... :)
Recently I admired some gorgeous wooden shutters from a house in China that dated back 300 yrs. They were about $500 so out of my price range, but I could just imagine taking an Obi (kimono sash) or two & putting them behind the shutters to add color to the display as wall art. I am sorely lacking in artwork at home and do love Japanese screens. The earth themes and tones are very calming.
For those of you who prefer "safe" gifts rather than creative, VISA gift cards are always useful. Rather than spend my cash, I use them for eating out, online purchases, or bill payments online or via phone. They take care of the extras and I can use them at any store rather than requesting specific places like Home Depot or Chili's. :)
If you enjoy bringing flowers, I will appreciate their beauty until they fade, so consider bringing a houseplant that I can nurture & remember you by. Plants bring a room to life not to mention the oxygen which you'll need after I'm finished w/ you. *evil grin*
Finally, music is always appreciated especially if you burn a cd of selections you enjoy and would like to share in our times together. This also applies to a good bottle of wine or a treat we can eat. How very romantic!
Thank you for your generosity whether it's simply a visit to see me or you choose to give a gift as well. The greatest gift is the discovery of someone new...
XOXOXO
Kat
